Safety and Privacy
Effective date: 12 September 2026
Protect your information
Keep your password unique and private. Do not send identity documents, banking credentials, account recovery codes or confidential addresses in public content or ordinary messages. Consider what can be copied once a photograph or other personal information is published online.
Impersonation and scams
A public profile or badge is not proof of identity or trustworthy behaviour. Be cautious about inconsistent information, pressure, threats, requests for secret payments, or instructions to bypass normal account security. Stop communication if it makes you feel unsafe. Preserve relevant URLs and messages without redistributing sensitive images.
Consent and exploitation
Consent must be freely given. Coercion, exploitation, trafficking and any involvement of minors are prohibited. Do not circulate suspected illegal material. Report a relevant URL through Report content and contact the appropriate authorities when a person may be at risk.
Urgent help
If someone is in immediate danger in Ireland, call 112 or 999. Elsewhere, contact the local emergency number. Website reports and support email are not monitored as emergency response channels.
Unauthorised publication
If your identity, images or contact information appear without permission, request removal at [email protected] or use the report form. Send the URL and a concise explanation first. We may ask for proportionate evidence through an appropriate channel.
